CONVERTER BOX AND REMOTE

The DTA800 is first ATSC converter box of Thomson AV group. It is developed to support the shutdown of the analog broadcast in US on February 17^th 2009.

Its main purpose is the convert the digital signal broadcasted from TV company to analog signal that old TV can display. Without this box, all analog TVs will not receive any TV programs after the shutdown.
